Reiki energy work with principles of Northern Style Thai massage provides gentle stretching, and clearing of  the body’s energy meridians. Reiki is healing energy that flows through the practitioner to the client wherever it is needed and is for highest good.
This style of body work is intuitively based and holistic. No one movement, stretch, position or pressure point is more important than another. Each movement is important for releasing blockage so the body can clear toxic build-up from stress.

What to Expect:
Member of the Thai Healing Alliance A session typically lasts 90 minutes.
The client is fully clothed and is treated on a floor mat with pillows.
Expect gentle rocking, pushing, pulling, and stretching. It is known to some as “Lazy Person’s Yoga”. The stretches are meant to improve circulation, and flexibility. The pressure points are meant to increase the body’s natural energetic flow. Meridian points are activated along the feet legs, arms,  hands, back, neck, and head, but not to the point of discomfort. The goal is to open the blocked areas and stretch the limbs and joints. so the body can release stored toxins. There are some positions where you will be asked to participate for the most benefit.

Reiki is incorporated throughout the massage and is energy work that releases what is not in your highest good. Sometimes the release will make you feel a warm or cold sensation. Sometimes following a Reiki treatment, you will feel more energy or you might feel more tired. It is different for each person and different each time.
